Jillian & Gene's Colorful, Artistic Wedding

All photos were taken by Jennifer Larsen Photography.

This wedding can be found on The Knot online.

From the moment I met Jillian and Gene, I knew this would be a fun wedding. Their style, from invitations to their venue, was eclectic, bright, and oh-so-much fun.

Just look at this outdoor patio with that gorgeous dress. No florals needed for this shot!

The venue they'd picked was the Art Factory in Paterson, NJ. The place is a photographer's- and planner's- visual dream. We were just the day-of coordinators for this one, but it didn't make it any less fun! It's so hard not to run from spot, to spot, to spot with couples and their bridal party, because every time you turn a corner, there's something different.

Their friend, Eva Darron, is an incredibly talented graphic designer. Not only did she make the invitations, but she also designed all of the signage.

<------ The couple named their signature drinks after their cats. I loved it.

If you're unfamiliar with the Art Factory, it's an old textile mill that's been converted into a market, art studio space, and wedding venue. They have a wood shop on their first floor that makes custom pieces for their couples, which is a fast way to my heart.

Since it was built in the late 1700s, the building itself is interesting structurally (I would highly recommend bringing a second set of shoes for walking around if you're planning on stilettos). It lends itself well to a lot of different styles. Industrial's a big trend for a reason!

The Art Factory is also a short distance from Paterson's waterfalls, so Jillian and Gene got gorgeous photos like this:

(They're this cute in person, too)

The groom had some serious style going on. His (humanely gathered) feather bow tie from Brackish completed the look.

The bridesmaids and the groomsmen got in on the style action, with the gals in a pretty mint color, and the gents in a hunter green.

Florals by Lodi Flowers- they did a stunning job.

For the ceremony, they used the venue's existing chuppah structure, adding greenery and pops of blooms. Swipe to see the happy couple moments after the ceremony!

Check out all of the fun details below- including their doodle pad guest book, animal figurine escort cards, personalized glass favors, hidden animals in the reception hall, and a giant wire lion filled with greenery. Better scroll all the way to end to see all of the incredible details!

Thanks for stopping by- see you next time!
